During our first deployment in 2006, I decided to mark that difficult time in my life with a permanent reminder-a tattoo. Now in our second deployment, I am once again contemplating inking this point in my life…in our lives. Considering that the U.S. Military has had its presence in the Middle East for the past seven to eight years, most Army spouses have endured at least one deployment.
